I recently had a bad relapse with being an alcoholic and heavy drinking. I still have a lapse occasionally. I am receiving professional help. But it is not enough. I almost lost my life last month because of my drinking and depression. The consequences of my actions have caused me to lose my job, friends, etc. I am also now in legal trouble for the first time, having to fight in court to get my charges dropped. Alcohol and depression have ruined my life. Last week I went to church for the first time in over decade by attending an AA meeting, which got me back into God and church itself for the first time in over a decade. I am asking prayer to find the strength to continue to redevelop my relationship with God and become fully sober and stay sober. I cannot do it on my own. And no amount of professional help or another person on this planet or even by my own strength is enough to fix my life the way it needs to be. I need God.

Thank you to all who prayed for my husband the last couple of years to receive a liver transplant. I am so happy to let you know that he did receive it in March 2023 and recovered quickly and wonderfully. I believe I sent an update last spring.
Last fall, the doctor found a tumor in his abdomen. It was growing quickly and his removal surgery was last December. We prayed and hoped that would be the end of it.
Just a few weeks ago, a new tumor was found. My husband's surgery is scheduled for May 15th. The doctor stated that sometimes after a transplant, a very small percentage of recipients do develop this recurring tumor situation. If the tumors keep coming back, they say their only option is to put him on one of two really strong medications, one is known to cause organ rejection (40%) and the other has an overwhelming amount of really bad (some life-threatening) side effects.
I am asking that you join me in prayer again. Please pray with me that the Lord will heal his body of whatever is causing this and that my husband will once again have a quick and total recovery. Please pray that the Lord will take this condition away and that He will put a full stop to these recurring tumors.

I NEED PRAYER FOR ALL OF THE BELOW BADLY.
I am having a self-control problem at home. I am afraid it will get worse as I get older. This is touching arms and legs, and neck, and feet. I am having this as a child with autism. Thankfully, it is only with my parents. Another thing, I need is prayer for self-control, such as binging on food, because I feel that I don't have any. I know I do because of The Holy Spirit, but I just don't know how to use it, because I don't feel it. I used to be in public school when I was really young, but I'm glad that I am not anymore because of my self-control. One more thing I need prayer for is my transitions to church and other things.

Please pray for two of my families closest friends, both have been battling extreme battles with cancer, Alicia with Colon cancer, she’s actually in the hospital as we speak, as well as Dan, he’s actually in ICU at the moment with a very serious infection, while he’s battling cancer throughout his entire body!
